About Me

Hi! My name is Kayla Orr. I am originally from Islamorada (The Florida Keys), Florida. I moved to Charlotte, NC about two years ago. Currently, I am a freshman attending High Point University. I am majoring in Communications- broadcast journalism, to be specific. The focus of my studies here at HPU is to take advantage of my many resources and get the best grades I can get in order to succeed. I hope to become a weather reporter on a major Television network after I finish school at HPU. An accomplishment I have had that will help me with fulfilling my dream job as a weather reporter is modeling. I have modeled for various companies and walked for a few runway shows. Not only has modeling allowed me to network and meet so many influential people, it has also granted me with camera presence which will come in handy for when I become a weather reporter.
